“Oh God, Brian. I can’t believe it. We’ve really made it to this day – I never thought it would actually happen!”

“It’s all yours, Sunshine, so enjoy it. Revel and remember every minute of it. Moments like this happen rarely for gay men.”

“I can’t believe how lucky we both are.”

“It’s much more than luck. It’s determination and the belief that we can do anything. I always knew you were a clever devil. After all, I cultivated your exemplary talents myself.”

Justin laughed, “Determined, yes, but it doesn’t take cleverness to become a father. All I did was jerk off in a cup.”

“It does when you have a baby with your best friend and you and your dazzling husband only have to care for her on alternate weekends, no night feedings for us.

“And you shared just the right mix of genes. Your daughter has dark curly hair and beautiful blue eyes.”

“Ours.”

Yes, there are definitely special moments that are worth reflection.
