Breaking Internal Barriers
Chapter 6
Justin sat at his desk, preparing himself for the weekly Monday meeting when Daphne buzzed him on the intercom.
“Yes Daphne,” he said.
“Good morning Justin. I have your tea,” she said.
“Come on in then,” he answered.
Justin waited only a little while before Daphne graced him with her presence.
“You are looking well this morning Justin,” Daphne said, handing him his Tazo Chai. “I’m guessing your mini vacation served you well.”
“Daph, it was a business trip,” Justin corrected.
“Oh yeah…and I’m sure you and Brian didn’t have any fun,” she laughed.
“We did have some fun,” Justin said. “Pittsburgh isn’t as bad as everyone says it is. I think it’s been terribly misjudged.”
“Really?” Daphne inquired, sitting down in one of the chairs in front of Justin’s desk. “Tell me everything.”
Justin laughed. “Well, I certainly don’t have time for that. The meeting is in fifteen minutes.”
“Okay, well give me the condensed version then,” she said. “But…don’t leave out any good details.”
Justin shook his head. “It’s really quite simple. We had our meeting with GNC, spent time with Brian’s son, and we visited a few of the local hangouts.”
“Oh…” Daphne said, very interested in this bit of information. “Brian has a son?”
“Yeah,” Justin said, realizing that he had just let that slip out. He didn’t know if Brian would mind people knowing about that. “But…don’t say anything about it to anyone. I’m not sure if Brian wants that information public or not.”
Daphne replied, “My lips are sealed. I won’t say a word, just like I haven’t said anything about him being gay.”
Justin nodded. “So as you can see, the trip wasn’t all that exciting. I did enjoy hanging out with Brian’s son Gus, though. He’s a great kid. When he found out I was an artist, he told Brian he wanted to take me to the art museum. His mother happens to be an artist, so he’s been to the museum several times since he’s been born. He showed me all his favorite pieces. He’s really a cute kid. ”
“Sounds like you had a great time,” Daphne said, smiling.
“Yeah,” Justin smiled, and Daphne couldn’t help but assume that pleasant smile radiating from Justin’s face meant that something else had gone on this weekend. She wondered how the hotel situation had affected the men, and she didn’t have to wonder too long before Justin conveniently brought it up.
“The only thing that was odd was that Brian ended up not having a room at the hotel. Somehow, his reservation was never made,” he said.
“Huh,” Daphne said, playing it coolly. “That’s strange.”
“Yeah, it was,” Justin said. “I guess his reservation got lost or something. Cynthia obviously made the reservations since I had a room.”
“Yeah,” she agreed. “You know how hotels are…always busy. The clerk probably forgot to write it down or something.”
“That’s my thought,” he replied. “Anyway…Brian and I ended up having to share a room. A convention was being held at the hotel, and they were totally booked.”
“Oh my,” Daphne said, sounding surprised. “How did that go?”
“It was fine,” Justin said, not bothering to mention the awkwardness there was between him and Brian for part of the weekend because of it. He knew Daphne would blow it out of proportion and he wasn’t in the frame of mind to deal with it right now. “We were barely at the hotel anyway.”
“Well, I guess it was alright then,” Daphne said, wondering what the details were. She hoped that Brian told Cynthia more, so she could find out what really happened. She knew Justin had to be hiding something.
“So, there you have it,” Justin said, getting up from his desk. “My weekend in a nutshell.”
“Well, I’m glad you had a good time,” Daphne said. “I think you needed to get away for a while…you work yourself too hard.”
“No I don’t,” Justin said, picking up his briefcase. “I just love my job.”
“Since you’re quite good at it, I guess that’s not such a bad thing,” Daphne said.
Justin nodded and picked up his tea and headed out the door to the meeting. “I’ll see you Daph.”
“Bye,” Daphne said, closing Justin’s office door on her way out. She knew later on she would need to call Cynthia to get all the details.
Brian booted up his laptop and sat down to look at one of the current layouts for one of his upcoming campaigns when someone knocked on the door.
“Come in,” Brian said, looking up to notice Cynthia standing at the door.
“Morning Brian,” Cynthia said, placing the coffee on her boss’s desk. “How was your week back in the Pitts?”
“Pretty good actually,” Brian said, picking up the coffee. “I spent a lot of time with my son and got to spend a little time with the gang as well.”
“Sounds nice,” Cynthia said. “Did you show Justin around?”
“Yeah,” Brian said. “We spent the week together. I even took him to see Gus…we all had a good time together.”
Cynthia raised her eyebrows in surprise. She knew Brian never told anyone about Gus…she had been the only one at the last agency to know of Brian’s biological child.
“Well, I’m glad you had a good time,” Cynthia said, glad to know that Brian and Justin had indeed gotten closer. Not wanting to ruin the moment, she decided to leave.
“I know the meeting is in ten minutes. I’ll just leave you to your work,” she said.
Brian nodded and Cynthia walked to the door until he stopped her.
“Oh Cyn, there’s something I wanted to ask you,” he said.
Cynthia turned around. “Yes?”
“When I went to check in at the hotel, they didn’t have a reservation for me. You did call them to make a reservation for me, didn’t you?”
Cynthia nodded. “Of course I did…right when you asked me too. I made two reservations, one for you and one for Justin.”
“Yes, Justin had a reservation, but for some reason mine must have gotten lost in the process. If he hadn’t been kind enough to let me share his room, I would have been out of luck. The hotel was booked solid for a convention.”
“Oh dear,” Cynthia said, smiling inside. “I’m glad it worked out in your favor then. Justin seems like a very kind man.”
Brian nodded. “He understood.”
“Was he okay with everything?” she asked curiously. “I mean…did you and he get along in the same room alright?”
“It was fine,” he said, not wanting to get into too much detail. “We managed.”
Cynthia just nodded, knowing Brian’s moods. Whenever something significant in his life ever happened, he barely commented on it. Due to the lack of words on his part, she knew that he and Justin must have had some moments in the last few days. She didn’t know if the moments were good or not, but since Brian seemed to be in a reasonable mood and had half a grin on his face, she assumed something decent must have happened while they were gone.
Brian got up and grabbed a few files. “I’ve got to go to the meeting. I’ll talk with you later.”
Cynthia left first and Brian closed his door on the way out. Heading down to the conference room, he met Justin at the door and smiled.
“Good morning,” Justin said, looking over at the other man.
“Morning,” Brian said, smiling at Justin. “Are you ready to give Alex the big
news?”
“Yeah, but let’s wait until after the meeting,” Justin said. “I want us to tell
her alone.”
“Good idea,” Brian said, looking over at Justin. Just then, Alex came from around the corner.
“Good morning guys!” Alex said. “How was the trip?”
“It was good,” Justin said, looking over at Brian.
“Yeah, really good,” Brian said, smiling over at Alex.
“Well, you’ll have to tell me all about it afterwards,” she said. “I’ve got a meeting I need to start now. Let’s get this show on the road.”
Alex left the boys at the door and looking again at each other, they both attempted to go through the door at the same time. Bumping into each other, Brian graciously stepped aside and said, “After you…”
Justin laughed and walked in to the conference room, taking his usual seat just below the head of the table. Brian sat down across from him and Alex began the meeting shortly after.
After the meeting finished, Alex asked Brian and Justin to stay behind. When the last person left the room, Alex went over to close the door. Closing it tightly, she turned around and put her hands together. “Well?”
Brian smiled, knowing exactly what the woman wanted to know. Pulling out the product of his and Justin’s collaboration, he gave Alex the board and said, “Say hello to our newest account…General Nutrition Center.”
Alex smiled and took the board in her hand. Looking down at the men’s creative genius, she said, “I just can’t believe it! You two can accomplish anything together. This is absolutely incredible. I am so proud of you both!”
Alex shook Brian’s hand and went over to give Justin a hug. After pulling away, he said, “No need to thank me. I’m not the ad exec.”
“No, but you’re a very important part of advertising,” Alex confirmed. “Without artists, we would have nothing but words on a page. You make everything come to life.”
Justin smiled. “I like thinking about it that way. Although, I seriously doubt my art work had to do with us winning the account. Brian did all the hard work…convincing the clients to sign. All I did was create the pretty picture.”
“The visual is the most important part of what a consumer sees,” Brian spoke up. “It’s the first thing the person sees. If the art work is distasteful or below par, the buyer thinks less of the product. The work you do in your job is what captures the buyer in the first place.”
Justin smiled over at Brian and noticed the man was smiling back.
“He’s absolutely right,” Alex said. “You two are a team…a damn good one at that. Don’t sell yourself short. You worked hard to help win the account too.”
“Thanks,” Justin blushed.
“Now that everything is taken care of, I guess you boys can go back to your individual work for now. If I have anything for you both, I’ll get in touch with you.”
Alex left first, with Brian and Justin closely behind. As Justin turned to go back to the elevator, he stopped and said, “I guess I’ll see you later.”
“Yeah,” Brian said. “Later.”
Justin smiled and walked forward, Brian just staring at the man as he left. Once Justin was out of sight, he turned around and went back to his office, a little upset that he wasn’t going to get to work with Justin today. He had enjoyed the blonde’s company all weekend and liked the comfortableness they shared. Trying not to think too much about it, he walked into his spacious office and tried to get back to work.
*****************
On Wednesday morning, Brian was sitting at his desk when Cynthia buzzed him.
"Yes, Cynthia," Brian answered.
"You have a visitor," Cynthia told him.
"Send them in."
He rose from his desk and opened his door to find Leo Brown standing on the other side.
"Leo!" Brian exclaimed, holding out his hand.
"Brian, I hope you don't mind that I dropped by like this. I wasn't sure if I would be able to make it down here today. When my schedule cleared, I'd figure I would take a chance that you would be free to see me," Leo explained, shaking Brian's hand.
"Does that mean we're all ready to go?"
"We're all set. All we have to do is sign on the dotted line. Do you think it will be possible for Ms. Turner to meet with us today? I know you said she doesn't know about our connection, but I would like to meet her as soon as possible," Leo said, taking a seat across from Brian's desk.
"I don’t think it will be a problem, Leo. Let me just call Justin up so we can show you the changes we talked about first. Once we have worked it all out, I will arrange for Alexandra to join us," Brian replied, reaching for the phone.
"Yes?"
"Hello, Daphne. It's Brian. I need to speak with Justin. Is he available?" He asked.
"Sure, Brian. I’ll put you through to him."
Brian sat down at his desk, waiting for Justin to get on the line.
"Hey, Brian. What's up?"
"I need you to come up to my office now. Is that a problem?"
"No, I have some time now. Is anything wrong?" Justin asked, wondering what was causing Brian to summon him.
"It's show time. Leo Brown is here and he's ready to sign," Brian explained.
"Great! I'll be right there," Justin replied. "Did you call Alex?"
"Not yet. I figured we would go over the final plans with Leo first, then call her in. I'll see you in a few," Brian said before hanging the phone.
Justin showed up about ten minutes later, and the three men looked over the final campaign, making sure everything was in order. Once Leo was satisfied with everything, Brian called down to Alexandra and asked her to come to his office.
"Hey Brian, Steve said you wanted to see me?" Alex said as she walked in, oblivious to the others in the room.
"Yes Alexandra, I'd like you to meet Leo Brown of Brown Athletics, our newest account. Leo, this is Alexandra Turner," Brian said as he made the introductions.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Turner. Brian has told me all about you and your company. I am happy to be a part of it," Leo said, shaking her hand.
"The pleasure is all mine, Mr. Brown, and please call me Alexandra," She replied before looking over at Brian. "Did you say our newest account?"
"Yes, Alexandra. Once I heard that Brian was making the switch from Vanguard to here, I knew I had to follow him. I have never worked with a more brilliant ad man in all my years in the business. He has wonderful insight into what people want and the capacity to make them go out and buy it. My yearly sales have almost tripled since signing with him at Vanguard. I wasn't about to let him get away," Leo explained before adding, "And please, call me Leo."
"I can't say I blame you, Leo. Brian is definitely the best ad man this company has ever seen, and teaming him up with Justin has been extremely profitable to both BTI, and the accounts they handle," Alexandra said, looking at both men with pride. "So, since you said Brown Athletics is our newest account, I assume that the terms of the contract have already been worked out?"
"You assumed right. Here is the signed contract. Feel free to look it over, if you’d like," Brian replied, handing the contract over for her approval.
"There is no need for that, Brian. I told you when you came aboard that you had the same writing power that I did, provided that you follow the standard guidelines. Leo, have you had a tour of the company yet?" Alex asked, redirecting her attention.
"Not yet. We just finished up the rest of our business, but I would love to see the operations for myself."
"Of course. Justin, why don't you start by showing Leo the Art Department while I speak with Brian. We'll join you both shortly," Alex suggested, wanting a moment alone with Brian.
Justin looked at Alex, wondering if she was going to read Brian the riot act for keeping her in the dark, but then turned his attention to Leo. "Sure, right this way Leo. Just do me a favor and let me know if I begin to bore you. I tend to get very passionate when it comes to my department and my art."
"That's a very good quality in someone of your position, Justin. I'm sure I won't be nodding off on you," Leo teased as they made their way out of the office.
Once the two men were gone, Brian looked at Alexandra, hoping that he wasn't in trouble for not sharing his news.
"I guess you are a little upset that I didn't tell you about Leo, huh?"
"Upset? Are you kidding? I've been trying to land Leo Brown for years! I can't believe you managed to get him to sign with us!" Alex exclaimed, thrilled by the day's events.
"Calm down, Alexandra. I really didn't do all that much. He heard I was leaving and called me. All I did was tell him he would be making the right decision if he came with me," Brian replied. He didn't want to take credit for wining and dining him to win the account when it was actually handed to him...the second time around.
"Brian he's here because of you. He came here because he knows that your ideas are the best. So learn how to take a compliment, alright?" Alex teased.
"Alright, alright, I'm brilliant. Is that better?" Brian joked back.
"Much! And that's why I am ready to offer you a full partnership," Alex said, watching the surprise on Brian's face.
"What?" He asked in shock. "Are you sure? I thought you said I had six months to prove myself?"
"Come on, Brian. I don't need six months. You've already proven yourself in the little time that you’ve been here. I have no doubt that you are exactly what this company needs. So, what do you say? Are you ready to be a full partner?" Alex asked with a smile.
"Well, you're the boss," Brian replied with his typical tongue-in-cheek expression. Inside he was beaming with pride. Making partner at Vanguard was thrilling, but he had forced Gardner's hand on that with Leo. This was something he earned on his own and it meant all the more to him because of that.
"Now you are, too. Tonight we are definitely going out to celebrate, and there won't be any in-laws to interfere. I guess we better go save Leo from Justin, otherwise he will end up nodding off." Alex laughed as they walked out of the door.
Alex had a car pick them up from their homes to drive them to the Cypress Room. She wanted to make sure they could all have a good time without worrying about driving home. Once they were there, they talked about the Brown account, along with the other new accounts that they had acquired since Brian's arrival. Alex was extremely happy with the way things were going with BTI and wanted to make sure Brian, as well as Justin knew that.
"I'd like to propose a toast," Alex said as she held up her glass. "To Brian, the best ad man in all of Florida, and to Justin. I know that with the two of you by my side, BTI will be at the head of the Advertising pool."
"I'll drink to that," Justin said, downing his drink.
"Me, too," Brian agreed, watching Justin before downing his own. He could feel himself beginning to get a buzz from the alcohol and knew he should stop drinking, but was enjoying himself too much to use common sense.
"Seriously you two, I really want to thank you both for all the hard work you’ve been putting in. If fact, I want you both to take tomorrow off and relax. You’re not to even think about business. Do you understand?" She said sternly.
"Yes, Boss," they replied in unison.
They all laughed at the men's reply. They continued to enjoy their night, eating, laughing, and drinking with Alex switching over to soda half way through. They finally headed out around midnight, with Brian and Justin enjoying a serious buzz. Alex couldn't stop laughing at their antics. The car arrived at Alex's house first. As she got out of the car, she gave them one last warning.
"Remember, no thinking about business until Friday. Have a good night, you two." She closed the door, leaving the two men alone in the car. Justin spoke first.
"Damn, she can be a tough boss. I was hoping to work on the GNC account tonight. I already started work on their new product line and brought the boards home to finish them up."
"You have them at home? How do they look?" Brian asked. He was curious as to what Justin had come up with for the slogan he had thought up.
"I think they look really good. Why don't you come up and see them? We can always call you a cab afterwards." Justin suggested, knowing that he was using work as a way to prolong his evening with Brian.
Brian thought about what Justin was suggesting. Knowing it probably wasn't a good idea, he startled himself by his answer. "Sure, why not?"
The car pulled up in front of Justin's building a few minutes later. The men stumbled out laughing, sending the driver away. As they walked into the loft, Justin walked to the refrigerator and grabbed a couple of beers. "I know we probably don't need this, but what the hell? It's not like we have to work tomorrow."
"One more won't hurt. Now where are the boards? I can't wait to see how it all worked out," Brian said, taking the offered bottle.
They looked over the boards for the next hour, talking about the concepts and drinking a couple more beers. By the time their work was done, it was after 1:00am.
"Maybe you should just stay here? It's getting really late. You can take my bed and I'll sleep on the couch," Justin said, his fuzzy mind not even thinking about the consequences.
Brian looked at the clock, realizing for the first time how late it actually was. He looked back at Justin and felt his groin tighten at the thought of spending the night in his home. "Maybe you're right. If we call for a cab, it probably wouldn't get here for an hour and I am kind of beat. But you can sleep in your own bed. I'll take the couch."
"Make yourself at home. I'll go get you a pillow and blanket. The couch is really comfortable and it's extra long, so you shouldn't have a problem sleeping on it," Justin told him, walking towards the closet that he kept the extra blankets in.
Brian leaned against the back of the couch, wondering how he was going to fall asleep with the hard on he was trying to hide under his clothes. He needed to find a way to put aside his attraction for the blond, but so far, he hadn't been able to come up with anything. He looked up into Justin's eyes when he heard the man approach.
"Okay, here you go," Justin said, setting up the couch for his over night guest. "Let me know if you need anything else."
"Thanks, Justin. Good night."
"Good night, Brian," Justin replied.
Justin turned to walk away, but between the amount of alcohol he’d consumed and the effects of being so close to Brian in a personal setting, he lost his footing and began to fall. Before he even had time to think about what to do, he felt himself being caught in a pair of strong arms.
Brian watched Justin lose his balance, and without thinking, reached out to catch him before he hit the ground. Once he had him in his arms, he tried to straighten him up, but since they both had a little too much to drink, it was not an easy task. Before either one of them realized what was happening, they were in each other's arms, their mouths locked in a passionate kiss.
Justin didn't know who initiated the kiss, but the contact was like an electric spark that neither one of them could control. He felt Brian's arms wrap tighter around him and allowed himself to fall into them, parting his lips only to be rewarded by feeling Brian's tongue thrust into his mouth. Any rational thoughts that he might have had disappeared as they fell into a passionate embrace.
Brian felt Justin's lips touch his and he was gone. He couldn't stop himself from deepening the kiss. He had been thinking about the man's taste ever since he first laid eyes on him and there was no way he would have been able to turn away from what was being offered to him now. Within minutes he felt Justin's hands begin to wander down his body, running along his spine and stopping when they reached his ass. He groaned into the kiss, feeling his cock become even harder. For one split second, his mind screamed for him to stop the direction the evening was taking, but that thought was quickly pushed away when he felt Justin's erection grinding against his own. He had to have this man, and there was no way he could not give in to the temptation.
They continued their dance, as they slowly started peeling the other man's clothes off, until they were both standing there naked. Justin pulled back and looked deep into Brian's lust filled eyes, unsure of what he would find there. They looked at each other for a moment before Justin took Brian's hand and slowly led him to his bedroom. They were silent, neither one of them willing to say a word for fear of breaking the spell that seemed to come over them. When they reached the bed, they came together once again in a heated kiss, and tumbled onto the bed. Justin managed to get Brian on his back and pulled his mouth away only to start placing soft kisses along the man's jaw, neck, and chest. He made his way down his body, stopping at the leaking member before him. He had never seen a sight more perfect than that of Brian Kinney sprawled out, naked and waiting for him. He ran his tongue lightly across the slit, the taste making him impossibly harder. At the sound of Brian's gasp, Justin took the member into his mouth and deep throated it, feeling the tip reach the back of his throat. He was lost in the feelings that tasting Brian's cock created.
Brian was on his back, with Justin's hot mouth wrapped around his cock, and knew that he was in heaven. He may have been with countless tricks in his life, but no one had ever stirred the feelings that he was experiencing at this moment. Justin began to pick up the pace and Brian knew that if he didn't stop him, he wouldn't last more than a few minutes, and he wanted his orgasm to happen while being buried in Justin's perfect ass. With a move he had mastered after years of fucking, he grabbed Justin and pulled him up, switching their positions so that Justin was on his back underneath him. He kissed the man deeply, tasting himself on the other man's tongue and moaned at their mixed flavor. He licked his way down Justin's toned body, enjoying the sounds that he was eliciting from the blond. When his tongue found Justin's cock, he wasted no time in taking the engorged member into his mouth. He raised his arm and ran his fingers over Justin's parted lips, sinking two fingers into the wet mouth. Once he was sure they were moist enough to do what he had planned, he brought his hand down and slowly began to slide a finger into Justin's tight hole. He could tell that Justin didn't bottom much, if at all, due to the resistance he found and knew he had to take things slow. He just hoped he could hold out long enough to prepare Justin for his swollen cock.
Justin felt Brian's finger enter him and gasped at the intrusion. He had only bottomed a few times in his life and that was years ago, in his early college days. Since then he chose to top, but when it came to Brian, he was ready. He wanted nothing more than to have Brian's cock buried deep inside him. He took a deep breath, and tried to relax, allowing Brian the entrance that he was seeking. The feelings that were coursing through his body were like nothing he had ever felt before, and he knew in his heart that he wouldn't forget this night.
Brian felt Justin relax and began to slide his finger in and out while continuing his assault on the rock hard cock and listening to the sounds of pleasure reverberating through the room. Once he was sure Justin was ready, he slowly added a second finger, scissoring the two and stretching the throbbing hole in preparation for what would be coming next. He needed to speed things up a little and wondered if Justin was as ready as he was. He didn't have to wonder long.
"Brian, ahhhh..." Justin moaned.
"What do you want, Justin? Tell me what you want," Brian encouraged.
"I want you to fuck me," Justin replied, huskily.
Brian didn't need anymore encouragement. He slowly withdrew his fingers, smiling at the sound of disappointment Justin had expressed. He placed a soft kiss on the twitching cock, than ran his tongue down and lightly licked his exposed hole, pushing his tongue inside the tight space and feeling Justin's body spasm in response. Pulling back, he began kissing his way back up to Justin's face and took his mouth passionately. Taking all of his strength, he ended the kiss, looking down into Justin's eyes for acceptance.
"Please tell me you have condoms and lube," he said in a throaty voice.
"Night table drawer... " Justin replied.
Brian smiled down at him as he reached over and found what he was looking for. He tore open the wrapper with his teeth and rolled the condom on his cock quickly. He opened up the lube and covered himself with the slippery substance before spreading a small amount at Justin's waiting hole. Tossing the tube of lube aside, he placed Justin's legs on his shoulders and positioned himself at his entrance.
"Are you sure about this?" Brian asked, wanting to make sure it was what Justin wanted.
"Definitely. Fuck me!" Justin replied, needing to be filled by Brian.
That was all Brian needed to hear. He gently pushed himself into the tight hole, a little at a time, until he was buried deep inside. He waited for a few moments, giving Justin time to adjust to his size. Once he felt him relax, he began a steady in and out rhythm. The sensations he was feeling at being wrapped by Justin's warm hole were so overwhelming, that he knew it wasn't going to be long before he reached orgasm. He leaned in and gave him a soft kiss before grabbing his cock and jerking him off in rhythm with his thrusts.
"Oh God, Brian..."
"That's it, Justin, Come for me..."
"I...ahhh...Brian..." Justin called out, as his orgasm overtook him and he shot his load.
"Justin..." Brian moaned. He felt Justin's ass grip him as his orgasm hit, causing his own earth shattering orgasm.
Brian collapsed on top of Justin, trying to keep his weight off the smaller man. They were both out of breath and still lost in their own ecstasy. After a few minutes, Brian rolled away to dispose of the condom. Once he felt the lost of contact, his mind sobered up to what had just happened between them. He looked behind him to find Justin wiping himself off with the tissues that were next to the bed. He could feel his cock begin to stiffen again at the sight and willed himself to stop thinking about the naked man beside him.
"Justin..." Brian started, before being silenced by the other man.
"Don't Brian. Let's just go to sleep now, and we will worry about everything in the morning, alright? This evening was too incredible to ruin it with reality," Justin replied. He laid back on the bed, waiting to see what Brian's next move was. He knew that what had happened was a mistake, but he couldn't experience regrets at that moment.
"Yeah, alright," Brian replied, as he moved to stand up and go to the couch.
"Brian? We just had an earth shattering fuck. I think it would be okay for you to sleep in here instead of the couch, don't you?" he chuckled.
Brian knew he was right, but there was a part of him that wanted to keep away from Justin so he wouldn't do something stupid. Like take him again. "I guess you're right."
Brian laid down, making sure to keep a safe distance between their bodies.
"Good night, Justin."
"Good night, Brian."
It wasn't long before the two men drifted off to sleep, the effects of the alcohol helping them along.
Sometime during the night though, they found their way into each other's arms. When Brian woke up the next morning, he was on his side, with Justin wrapped in his arms. He knew he needed to get up and find a way to put the prior evening behind him and forget about it, but he wanted to stay locked in the other man's embrace for a little bit longer. His mind replayed the memories of their encounter and he felt his morning hard on become even harder. He slowly released Justin and slid from the bed, careful not to wake him.
Making his way into the living room, he quietly called for a cab before getting dressed, hoping that Justin was a sound sleeper. Once he was presentable, he made his way out front to wait for his ride, wondering how he was going to keep the incident from the night before from ruining their working relationship. His head was throbbing, partly from the alcohol he’d consumed the night before, so he decided to put it all out of his head for the moment. He would figure it out later.
Justin woke up to the sound of the door closing. His mind drifted back to the previous evening, and he knew without looking that Brian was gone. He dragged himself from bed and headed into the shower, hoping to wash away some of the regret from the night before. It wasn't the sex that he regretted. That had been incredible. What he regretted was letting himself and Brian cross the line into something more than either of them wanted. He had managed to keep his lustful thoughts to himself, allowing their working relationship to be the main focus. Now things were sure to be awkward between them and it was bound to interfere with their work. No! He couldn't think that way. They would find a way and put it behind them. A fuck was just a fuck. Now all he had to do was convince himself that it really was just a fuck.
*****************
Brian arrived at the office early on Friday, telling himself that he wanted to catch up on what he’d missed the day before, but if he was honest with himself, he would have to admit that the thought of getting in early and hiding out in his office did have a certain amount of appeal. He just wasn't ready to face Justin and what had happened between them Wednesday night. Not yet. He still needed to figure out how to handle the situation. Forcing his thoughts to the back of his mind, he threw himself into his work and managed to loose track of time. He was startled when Cynthia walked in.
"Hey Boss, you're here early." she said, surprised to find Brian behind his desk. "Did you enjoy your day off?"
"Yeah, it was great. I need you to get me the files for GNC. I had some ideas come to me yesterday, and I want to work on them before I forget." Brian said, keeping his thoughts focused on the paperwork in front of him.
Cynthia immediately knew that there was something on Brian's mind. She could see dark shadows under his eyes, and not the kind that he got after the usual round of drinking and tricking. "Is everything alright, Brian?"
"Of course. What could be wrong?" Brian said aloud, already knowing the answer. He’d had a drunken fuck with the Art Director, but other than that, everything was fine.
"I don't know. You just seem...distracted, I guess," she said hesitantly.
"Cynthia, I'm a full partner in a multi million dollar advertising agency. You don't think I might be a little distracted now and then? Now, could you get me that file I asked for?" Brian hissed, hating the way he was snapping at his assistant.
"Uh, yeah. I'll go get it now," Cynthia replied, quietly leaving the office. Heading to the files room, she took her time trying to figure out some reason for her boss's foul mood. He’d seemed fine when he left on Wednesday, excited by the news of his promotion and looking forward to the dinner he was going to share with Alexandra and Justin in their honor. She briefly wondered if that had anything to do with his current state and vowed to call Daphne the first chance she got to see if Justin was experiencing any foul moods of his own. It only took a few moments to locate the files Brian wanted, and she headed back into the lions den as quickly as she could. When Brian was in a mood like this, it was better to just give him what he wanted, when he wanted it.
"Here you go, Boss. I'll be at my desk if you need anything, or just want to talk," she offered, knowing it was a long shot, but wanting to let him know that she would listen if something was on his mind.
"Thanks. This is all I needed," Brian replied, absentmindedly. He barely noticed her retreat.
Justin was sitting at his desk, trying to block the images that kept plaguing him. He knew he needed to stop thinking about what had happened between him and Brian, but he couldn't help but replay it over and over in his mind. He wasn't even sure who initiated the first kiss. He had been trying to put some space between them and tripped over his own feet. He remembered Brian reaching out to catch him before he fell. The next thing he knew, they were locked in a passionate kiss, and he was unable to stop the inevitable from happening. He looked up when he heard the door opening, knowing that Daphne had arrived.
"Hey Justin," Daphne greeted, taking a seat across from he boss. "What's up?"
"Nothing's up? I'm working, remember? This is my job, isn't it?" Justin snapped.
"Okay, what happened?" she asked, surprised by his response.
"Nothing happened." Justin replied.
"Come on Justin, this is me you're talking to. Wouldn't it be easier to just tell me now instead of making me nag you all day until you finally give in and tell me what I want to know?" Daphne teased. She could see a haunted look in his eyes and knew something was really bothering him.
"You know what, Daph? Leave it alone. Don't you have work to do?" he growled.
"Okay, alright, I'll let it go. You know where to find me if you need me," Daphne said, retreating back to her desk. As soon as she sat down, she began wondering what could have Justin so upset that he would snap at her for no reason. Reaching for the phone, she called the one person who might be able to shed some light on what was troubling Justin.
"This is Cynthia."
"Hey, it's me," Daphne said, quietly.
"I was just going to call you. How is Justin acting this morning? Is he experiencing extreme PMS?" Cynthia asked with a chuckle.
"As a matter of fact, he is. That's why I was calling. I take it Brian is acting the same way?" Daphne asked, intrigued as to what could be bothering the two men.
"He nearly bit my head off when I said he seemed distracted. I wonder what's going on. Something must have happened between the two of them." Cynthia pointed out.
"You don't think that they could have..." she stopped, letting her silence say what she didn't want to say out loud.
"Do you think?"
"I don't know. I haven't seem him like this in a long time. Not this bad." Daphne admitted. "What do you think we should do?"
"Daphne, I don't think there is anything we can do. Unless they come to us, I think our hands are tied. I'll try to talk to Brian again, but he seems adamant that there is nothing wrong aside from the daily pressures of work." Cynthia explained, wishing there was something more she could do.
"Good. I'll try talking to Justin again, too. Maybe by the afternoon he'll be ready to come clean. Let me know if you find anything out," Daphne said, thinking about ways to make Justin spill.
"I will. You, too," Cynthia replied before hanging up the phone. She didn't want to push Brian, but she knew something was wrong and really wanted to help him. Now that they were living in Florida, he didn't have anyone else to confide in. She was all he had and she was hoping that she would be enough.
After a long day at work, trying his hardest to avoid everyone, even Cynthia, Brian walked into his loft around 7:00 pm. He headed straight for the shower, not even bothering to see if there was anything for dinner. He had this inner need to forget his troubles and he knew just where he needed to be to do that. He may not be in Pittsburgh anymore, but his pain management techniques never changed. An hour later, he found himself standing by the bar at the Coliseum being greeted by what's his name. Kevin.
"Hey, Brian. How's it going?"
"Great. Double Beam." Brian replied, dryly.
Kevin could sense something was wrong with the gorgeous man, but didn't want to push him. He poured Brian's drink and placed it on the bar, only to have him down it and ask for another one before Kevin even took the money for the first one. He prepared the second one and placed it down, trying to strike up conversation.
"So… where's Justin tonight?"
"How the fuck would I know?" Brian snapped, downing his second drink.
'Well that explains the mood' Kevin thought to himself. It was obvious that something had happened between the two men. Now, all he had to do was find out what it was. His mother always told him he was the queen of gossip. He guessed she was right.
"Sorry, man. I guess I just thought that maybe you were meeting him here. You seem to enjoy dancing together, and all," Kevin said, trying to smooth some of the feathers he ruffled.
"Yeah, whatever. Give me another," Brian replied, dismissing the other man. He let his eyes roam over the crowd. He was lost in thought, and didn't hear the blond approaching the bar.
"Kevin, I'll have a double beam," Justin ordered, noticing Brian out of the corner of his eye.
'Shit! What the fuck is he doing here?' He thought to himself. After all these years, Justin had begun to feel as if the Coliseum was his place. Now he was going to have to deal with running into Brian on a regular basis, and that thought didn't sit well with him. He came here to forget about Brian and their night together. The last thing he needed was to be standing at the bar with him. He downed his drink and tossed a few dollars down before walking out to the dance floor, never acknowledging Brian's presence.
Brian saw Justin out on the dance floor and couldn't help the tightness he felt in his crotch at the sight of the blond bumping and grinding against what appeared to be his trick of the night. For reasons he couldn't or wouldn't try to explain, he could feel himself getting angry at the way Justin was dancing with the man. Finishing his drink, he made his way to the dance floor, dragging a trick he picked up on the way. He found a vacant spot, not too far away from the blond, and began a bumping and grinding dance of his own. He could feel himself getting lost in the music, but not enough to squelch his awareness of Justin and his trick.
Justin was dancing as close as he could to the trick in front of him, trying to forget about the hazel eyed man who kept invading his thoughts. He looked up and saw that Brian had moved to the dance floor, and was dancing seductively with some unknown trick. A mixture of emotions raced through him, none of which he wanted to explore, and he pulled his trick in for a deep kiss. The man wasn't bad looking, his dark features making Justin harden slightly. He was going to have to do. After giving the trick a small preview of what was coming, he pulled back in time to see Brian leading his own trick into the back room. That angered him for some reason, and Justin found himself following Brian's lead, dragging his trick along for the ride.
When Brian finally made it to the back room, he leaned against the wall, pushing his trick down to his knees. He needed something to take his mind off the vision of Justin dancing with someone other than him. He knew it was stupid to feel that way, as if Justin wasn't entitled to dance with anyone but him, but he had to admit that ever since they had become friends, they had enjoyed being on the dance floor together. After a few minutes of fumbling, the trick managed to get Brian's pants down and wrap him mouth around his cock. He finally found something to take his mind off what had happened the other night. Or so he thought, until he looked up and saw Justin enter the room. He watched with a mixture of emotions as Justin backed up to the wall opposite him, his own trick dropping down on his knees. Brian got a quick view of his large cock before the trick took it into his mouth and the sight made him become impossibly harder. It wasn't hard for him to envision the blond on his knees before him and he used that vision, all the while staring at the show before him.
Justin could feel the trick take him in his mouth, and pushed away the disappointment he felt that it wasn't Brian's mouth on him. He glanced over to where Brian was, and was startled to find the man staring back at him. He knew he should break the eye contact that they had made, but couldn't make himself look away. The sight of Brian receiving a blow job was hotter than anything he had ever seen before, causing Justin to climb incredibly closer to orgasm. Using his imagination, he replaced the unknown trick with Brian's image and continued his ride to release looking into hazel eyes. When he finally shot his load, it took all of his willpower to keep from calling out Brian's name in pleasure. At that moment, he knew he was in trouble.
Brian continued to make eye contact with Justin, unable to look away. All it took was seeing Justin reach orgasm to cause his own explosion, shooting his load down his tricks' throat. So much for coming out to forget the blond. All he managed to do was make himself wish he was the one who caused Justin to moan in ecstasy. What he needed to do was take his trick home and fuck him into his mattress, putting Justin out of his mind completely. He only hoped that he would be able to do just that.
*****************
Brian walked into the office on Monday morning, feeling relatively good. He had fucked and gotten sucked all weekend…something he hadn’t done in a while. Ever since he had become friends with Justin, the two of them usually hung out at each other’s homes and worked or ended up seeing each other at the club and danced together on the weekends. Now that it wasn’t an option, Brian contently fucked around with whomever he wanted. But was he really satisfied?
Before he had a chance to think about it, Cynthia came in to bring him his coffee.
“Good morning Brian,” Cynthia said. “I hope you had a good weekend.”
“It was fabulous,” Brian said, picking up the coffee and taking a drink. Cynthia noticed his change of manner from Friday and hoped it meant that whatever had happened between him and Justin had fixed itself. She decided to be nosy and ask.
“So what did you do?” she asked.
“Oh the usual…plenty of hot men, booze, and pills,” Brian said, raising up his coffee mug. “Just like old times.”
“Oh,” Cynthia said, a little disappointed. “Well, it’s good to see you more relaxed today. Hope the meeting goes well.”
Brian gave one of his quick, false smiles and nodded, dismissing Cynthia without a word. He knew that she was fishing for information, but he wasn’t in the mood to tell anyone what was bothering him. He would be fine, just like he’d been all the other times in his life. He didn’t need to talk to anyone about anything…he would just continue to work and forget about everything. After all, Justin was just another one of his countless fucks. It didn’t mean anything.
When Justin walked to his office, Daphne met up with him, carrying his tea.
“Morning Justin! You’re looking better today, I see,” she said.
“Yeah, I had a very eventful weekend,” he said, mask of indifference firmly in place.
“Oh yeah? Well…do tell,” she said, interested in what Justin had to say. She hoped that whatever had happened had placed both him and Brian in better moods; since she suspected that their moods on Friday had to do with something that had happened to them both.
“Well, let’s see…I fucked a Philippine guy on Friday night and then two very handsome, black haired men on Saturday. I was a little tired by Sunday, so I let these three Asian men suck me off,” he said, chuckling at the end.
“Really?” Daphne said, a little annoyed. She didn’t really want details of Justin’s amazing sex life, considering hers was practically non existent.
“Yeah Daph, it was great,” Justin said, nodding his head.
“So in other words, it was usual business for Mr. Taylor,” Daphne sighed.
“You got it,” he said.
Daphne breathed out and looked at her watch. “Well, it’s about time for the meeting.”
“Yes it is,” Justin said, placing his suit jacket back on and picking up his briefcase. “Bye Daph.”
“Bye,” Daphne said sadly, wondering what was really up with her best friend. She could tell that he had morphed back into his usual self over the weekend, but knew there was nothing she could do. She would just have to wait until Justin came to her.
Justin walked to the elevator and quickly went up. When he got to the correct floor, he walked to the conference room. He noticed that Brian was already in his usual position, looking down at some notes he had brought with him. He quickly took his seat and pulled some papers out of his briefcase to do the same, avoiding any eye contact with Brian.
Alex walked into the conference room and noticed her two top men had already taken there places. A smile on her face, she said, “Good morning gentlemen!”
Brian looked up and smiled and Justin said a quiet hello. Both then went back to what they were reading. Alex found this strange, since both men were usually chatting rapidly before a meeting. She wondered what had caused them to be so silent this morning. Putting those thoughts away for now, she started the meeting.
As soon as they were finished, she dismissed her team and gathered up her things. As she looked back up, she noticed Brian and Justin both racing to the door. Wanting to get to the bottom of whatever was happening, she said, “Brian, Justin, I’d like to speak with you both.”
Brian turned around and sighed, having a feeling he knew what Alexandra was going to ask about. Justin felt a similar feeling. Both men came back to their seats and sat down, looking over to Alex. Alex immediately noticed just how uncomfortable they really were.
“Okay guys, I’m not blind,” she said. “I can tell there is something wrong. You can’t fool me. What’s going on?”
Waiting for a response from one of them, she turned to look at each one. Justin was the first one to speak up. As if he didn’t know something was going on, he raised his shoulders and said, “Nothing that I am aware of. Everything’s fine.”
“Brian?” she said, turning to look at her partner.
“Everything’s good with me,” he said. “Nothing to report.”
Alex sighed. She had a feeling she would get an answer like this. “Look, I usually make it my policy to not interfere with my employees personal lives; but in this case, I feel I need to make an exception. You two are not regular employees here. You are the cream of the crop, the best of the best. The entire future of this company rests on our work as a team, and if two of the team members are not working well together, this whole company could fold.”
“Alex,” Justin said, looking up at his long time friend. “Don’t you think you’re being a little overly dramatic? I mean…the company is fine.”
“I know,” Alex said. “But it could all change in a heartbeat if we’re not careful. The reason we’ve been doing so well in the last few months is due to the cooperation of you two men. You’re a magnificent team. But this morning when I walked into the meeting, I immediately noticed a different air in the room. It wasn’t as friendly as it usually is…it was more oppressive.”
“Maybe we’re both just having an off day?” Brian suggested, looking up at his partner. “I think we’re entitled to have those.”
“I’m hoping that’s all it is,” Alex said, truly meaning it. “I know you guys work hard, and we’re all entitled to have bad work days. If that’s the case with the both of you, then I suggest taking off the rest of the day to get your act together. This company needs both of you working at 110% all the time. Don’t you both agree?”
“Yes Alex,” Justin said, looking down at his hands. Brian just nodded, looking straight at his partner.
“Okay,” Alex said, glad she had gotten that taken care of. “So, you guys should both take the rest of the day off and pull things together. I’m leaving first thing in the morning, so Brian is going to be running the company for the next week. When I get back, I expect things to be back to normal.”
“Excuse me?” Brian said, wondering if he had heard correctly.
“You heard me,” Alex said, gathering up her papers and putting them in her briefcase. “I’m going out of town to make a presentation to a company in Cleveland. Since you went the last time, I figured I would do my part to reel this one in for us. After all, I have to feel I am contributing to this company in some manner.”
Brian laughed. “You do more for this company than I could ever imagine.”
“Mostly behind the scenes work though,” Alex said. “It’s been a while since I’ve been able to use my powers of persuasion to impress a client. It’s about time I got back out on the playing field.”
“Well, I’m sure you’ll do great,” Brian said.
“Yeah Alex, good luck,” Justin said.
“Thanks,” Alex said, opening the door. “I’ll see you guys next week.”
Both men said goodbye to Alex and gathered up there briefcases again. They then walked out and went back to their individual offices.
When Justin walked back into his office, he gathered up some boards he wanted to work on at home. He knew that Alex was right…he needed to speak to Brian about what had happened, and knew that first thing tomorrow, he would do so.
Once Brian had everything he needed, he said goodbye to Cynthia and headed down to the elevator. He thought about what Alexandra said, and knew she was right. He and Justin couldn’t play this silent game forever. They just needed to admit what happened and move on. He still communicated with his other hundreds of tricks, and Justin didn’t have to be any different. He promised himself he would speak with Justin the next time he saw him, so they could put this all behind them.
As he got into the elevator, he pressed the button for the ground floor and waited. The elevator stopped and Brian looked up to notice they were only on the fourth floor. Stepping aside to let the other people in, he came face to face with none other than Justin.
“Oh,” Justin said, stepping back after he saw Brian. “I can wait for the next one.”
“That’s stupid,” Brian said. “Just get in.”
Justin nodded and stepped into the elevator. As soon as the door closed, Brian kept to his word. “We need to talk.”
“Yeah…we do,” Justin said.
“Alexandra made a good point today. We need to get this out of the way for the sake of the company.”
“I agree,” Justin replied.
The door opened to the ground floor and Brian and Justin walked out. They walked over to their cars when Brian said, “Get in.”
Justin followed and got into Brian’s car, knowing that the other man wanted to have a little more privacy than the openness of the parking garage.
“Okay…we both know what happened that night,” Brian started. “We got a little too drunk, and one thing led to another.”
“Right,” Justin replied. “It was a drunken fuck…a one time thing.”
“Yeah,” Brian said. “After all, we both don’t believe in all that love crap or relationships.”
“Absolutely not,” Justin said, glad that Brian thought the same thing he did. “We can just put it behind us and forget about it…go back to being work partners and friends.”
“Right,” Brian said, looking into Justin’s eyes for the first time since the night they had crossed the line. When he saw what was there, he looked away, not wanting to think of what it might imply.
“So, we go home today and deal with things and come back tomorrow and be normal,” Justin said. “Just like any other day.”
“Sounds good,” Brian said, starting up the jeep. “I guess I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“Yeah,” Justin said, opening up the door. “Bright and early…boss.”
Brian laughed. “I still can’t believe she’s putting me in charge.”
“I’m sure you’ll be fine,” Justin said. “After all, you’re a full partner now.”
“Yeah,” Brian said, starting to feel better about things. He really hoped he and Justin could go back to the way things used to be. He was beginning to miss Justin’s companionship in the last few days. If he was honest with himself, he would admit he missed a whole lot more than that, but he wasn’t ready to be that truthful yet.
“Bye,” Justin said, closing the door and walking away. He hoped that things would go back to normal now between him and Brian. However, some part of him was letting him know otherwise. He felt a strange feeling in the upper left region of his chest, and for the sake of the company and for his sanity, he wished it would stop.
*****************
Brian was sitting in his office, busy at work. Ever since Alexandra had left on Tuesday, he’d been incredibly busy. He had no idea how much it took to run an entire company. He was really beginning to appreciate how much Alexandra did, and couldn’t for the life of him think of why she thought she wasn’t doing anything in the company.
He looked over at the clock and noticed it was already close to lunch time. Knowing he had no time to take a lunch break, he buzzed Cynthia and asked her to go to the deli down the street to get him a sandwich. A few minutes later, she buzzed him back, saying Chris Jenkins wanted to see him.
“Who?” Brian asked.
“He’s a part of Alexandra’s team. He said he has something for you to look over,” Cynthia replied.
“Oh, of course,” Brian said, feeling stupid. He realized he needed to find out more peoples’ names if he was going to be put in charge more in the future. “Send him in.”
Chris walked in. “Hello Mr. Kinney. I didn’t want to bother you, but Ms. Turner asked me to turn these into her on Thursday. I guess she didn’t know at the time that she would be out of town.”
“Well, we often have to leave on a days notice,” Brian replied, taking the boards from him. “Thanks for keeping to your word. I’m sure Ms. Turner will appreciate it.”
“No problem Mr. Kinney,” Chris said, smiling. The new partner was definitely nicer than he thought he would be. “I hope they’re what both of you were expecting.”
Brian took a look at the boards and recognized the art work right away. “Do you know who did these in the art department?”
Chris replied, “I’m not entirely sure, but I think I remember Ms. Turner asking Mr. Taylor to do it. She said it was a very important account.”
Brian nodded, his suspicions being correct. “Thanks. These are excellent. I think Ms. Turner will be very happy with them.”
“Thanks Mr. Kinney,” Chris said. He turned around to leave and Brian was left alone in his office again. Without even realizing it, he continued to look at the boards until someone knocked on his door.
Sighing, Brian wondered why Cynthia hadn’t buzzed him. Deciding to just trust whoever it was, he said “Come in.”
Justin opened the door and saw Brian staring at one of the layouts. “Hey. Cynthia wasn’t here, so I just decided to come to the door. Did I come at a bad time?”
“No, not at all,” Brian said, putting the board aside. “I was just looking over some of your most recent work.”
Justin went over and noticed that Brian had been looking at a layout he’d done a little over a week ago. He remembered Alex had called him into her office and asked him to do the layout personally. Although the company was small, she had high hopes for it and trusted no one other than Justin to do the best work.
“I hope it’s alright,” Justin said modestly, not used to Brian being the one to look over his work and give the final opinion.
“It’s great,” Brian said, taking the board back in his hand. “The color scheme is good. It really is an eye popping array of colors.”
Justin smiled nervously. “Thanks.”
“I wouldn’t expect any less from you,” Brian said confidently.
Justin nodded. “I just came by to give you these. It’s the new layout for the Purina account.”
Brian took the boards from Justin and remembered back to when he and Justin were working on the account and smiled. It was before they had gone to Pittsburgh and before all of the mess between them had occurred. Although he and Justin were back to speaking, they had lost the comfortableness between them. They weren’t as with ease with each other as they had once been. Not only that, Brian couldn’t get the image of the naked blond out of his head. Although he and Justin agreed to put it behind them and just forget about it, Brian couldn’t seem to do that. He usually didn’t think of the fucks he had with tricks the morning after, but Justin was different, and not only because he saw the man everyday either. Something had happened between them that night. Justin was definitely the hottest man he had ever fucked, and that troubled him too. Even though he had tricked a lot since that night, he couldn’t feel satisfied anymore with just anyone. Now that he’d had a taste of the best, he didn’t want anything less.
“These look pretty good,” Brian said. “Who knew dog food could be so appealing?”
Justin laughed. “Yeah, I guess so.” He was glad that Brian liked the layout. He didn’t know why, but Brian’s opinion always meant so much more than anyone else’s…even Alex’s. That thought alone made him wonder what was going on with him as far as Brian was concerned. Ever since he and Brian had decided to put there night behind them, Justin had tried a million different ways to do so, but it was difficult. He hadn’t bottomed in a long time, and letting Brian cross that boundary was something he didn’t just let anyone do. He remembered back to the last time he had bottomed for someone, and everything about that had come out bad. It was also a time where he had believed in all that love stuff, but he was no longer the naïve, innocent boy he once was. He knew how cruel the world was, and now he wondered even more why he had let Brian fuck him. He tried to believe it was just because he was drunk at the time, but that wasn’t entirely true. He had known what he was doing at the time, and being with Brian had felt like the right thing to do. He had felt completely comfortable with him, trusted him in every way that night…something that he hadn’t been able to say in about a decade. And when it came down to it, Justin had enjoyed Brian fucking him. The man was hot, and having his large, engorged member inside of his own ass had been just want he had wanted at the moment. He didn’t know what he was going to do about all these new feelings he was experiencing…it was just too much to handle at the moment.
“Umm…do you need anything else?” Justin asked, wanting to leave.
“I don’t think so,” Brian said.
“Alright, I guess I’ll be going then,” Justin said, heading to the door. “I’ll be in my office if you need me.”
“You’re not going to lunch?” Brian asked.
“Who has the time?” Justin said. “I have about five projects I need to finish up with.”
“Yeah, I’m busy too. I’m up to my ass in paperwork,” Brian said. “I can’t wait until Alex gets back.”
“I think we can all agree with that,” Justin said. “Later.”
“Later,” Brian said, watching Justin leave. His eyes averted to Justin’s ass, and he began to feel his erection building inside his pants. He sighed, wondering how he was ever going to be able to go back to the ways things had been. From the ways things were now, it just didn’t seem possible.
*****************
Brian was standing up on the catwalk, looking down at all the hot bodies out on the dance floor. The problem was that none of them were striking his interest. Some were too tall, some were too short, too dark, too thin; he managed to find something wrong with every single one of them. "Well, not everyone," he mumbled to himself as he saw Justin approaching him.
"Hey," Justin called, as he took the empty space next to Brian. He’d been standing at the bar for the last thirty minutes, trying to find the courage to say hello. Even though they had worked out their differences and decided to put their night together behind them, things were still a little awkward between them.
"Hey," Brian replied, trying to act nonchalant. He didn't want Justin to see how much he was affected by being so close to him.
Justin was at a loss as to what to say next, so he stood there looking out over the dance floor trying to find his trick of the night. He had been looking for someone to dance with since he’d arrived over an hour ago, but so far, no one seemed to grab his attention. He refused to believe that it had anything to do with the man standing next to him. He was so lost in thought that he jumped when Brian spoke to him.
"See anyone you like?"
"Not really. It's seems kind of slow tonight. How about you?" Justin asked.
"Not really. All the hot guys must be either in the back room or already gone," Brian replied with a chuckle.
"Well, while we're waiting, you wanna dance?" Justin asked, shocking both himself and Brian.
"Yeah, sure," Brian replied casually.
They walked together down to the bar, grabbing a shot before heading to the dance floor. The music was thumping, and they were soon lost in the sounds surrounding them. They continued to dance for the next few hours, only stopping long enough to get another drink now and then. By midnight, they were both feeling the effects of the beam they had consumed, and were dancing closer than anyone in the room. All the awkwardness seemed to disappear and they were bumping and grinding without a care in the world.
Justin pulled back slightly, and looked up into Brian's eyes, seeing the lust that had settled in them. Without even thinking about the consequences, he reached up and kissed him, feeling a jolt that shot straight to his groin at the contact.
Brian felt Justin's lips on his and immediately felt the heat radiation through them. He had one brief thought of stopping the direction they were moving in, but having Justin's erection pressed up against his quickly pushed away those thoughts. As the kiss deepened, Brian could feel Justin moan in response to the friction they were creating. Without thinking about what he was doing, Brian pulled away and grabbed Justin's hand, dragging him into the back room. He pushed the blond up against the wall and looked deep into his eyes. He saw raw need there and knew that they wanted the same thing. He leaned in and attacked Justin's swollen lips while undoing his pants and reaching for his cock, finding it engorged and leaking. Pushing Justin's pants down further, he spun the blond around wetting his fingers in place of lube. He quickly pushed a finger into Justin's waiting hole, while using his other hand to open his own pants. His desire was intense. He needed to be inside of the man before he exploded just from anticipation. He quickly added a second finger, wanting to make sure Justin was prepared for his aching cock; waiting for a signal that he could take the next step.
Justin was facing the wall, trying to keep his legs from buckling from the feelings Brian was creating in him. His cock was painfully hard and Justin knew he wasn't going to last long. When he felt Brian insert a second finger, he moaned out in pleasure. He leaned his head back, and was rewarded when Brian leaned forward and kissed him forcefully. This coupling was all about their animalistic need, neither one of them wanted to be gentle. Out of the corner of his eyes, Justin could see that most of the activity in the darkened room had stopped while all the men looked on at the action. It wasn't everyday that anyone got the chance to see the stud of the Coliseum bottoming for someone, but Justin didn't care. All he cared about was feeling Brian inside of him.
"Fuck me, Brian," Justin begged when the kiss ended.
Brian needed no further encouragement. He briefly noticed that most of the room was watching them, obviously surprised by Justin's role in their pairing, but chose to ignore them. All he needed was the ass waiting in front of him. He grabbed a condom from his pants pocket and sheathed himself before slowly sliding in Justin's warm opening. The tightness was enough to send him over the edge, but he managed to contain himself as he stilled himself waiting for Justin to adjust to his size. When he felt the man begin to relax, he started moving, feeling the pressure building in his balls. He had hoped to take things slow at first, wanting to prolong the feelings he was experiencing. Unfortunately, Justin had other ideas and began pushing back, silently asking for more.
Justin was half way between heaven and earth and wanted Brian to take him over the edge. He needed more, so he pushed back into Brian, making his demands clear without words. He could feel himself moving closer to the edge and jump with desire as Brian reached around him and grabbed his cock. They found a steady rhythm and continued to climb higher and higher, until Justin let loose, shooting his load all over the wall in front of him,
Brian felt Justin tighten around him as he came, causing him to explode in his own earth shattering orgasm. He let his body slump forward against Justin's while trying to recover. A few moments later, he pulled out, disposing of the condom and pulling up his pants. Once that was done, he forced himself to look into Justin's eyes, and was startled to find confusion looking back at him.
"I think I need another drink," Brian said, quietly.
"Yeah, me too. A double," Justin replied.
As Brian and Justin walked out of the back room, they couldn't help but notice the lustful looks they were getting from the men who had watched the show. It wasn't often that two tops came together in such a heated union. They continued out to the bar and ordered their drinks, neither one of them acknowledging what had just transpired between them.
"I better get going. I have an early morning commitment," Justin offered, needed to put some space between them.
"Yeah, I have to be up early, too. I guess I'll see you on Monday," Brian replied, heading towards the door.
"Yeah, see you Monday."
They walked outside and parted ways, both of them lost in thought and wondering what was going to happen next.
