Lean On Me

Chapter Seven

Brian glanced at his watch and saw how late it was. Usually, by now, he was at Babylon... in the backroom. But, here he was, sitting with Justin on the couch and talking. He mentally shook himself, forcing down the chuckle that wanted to escape. If someone, a week ago, had told him that he'd be doing this, he would've suggested that they immediately check into the nearest mental facility.

"Brian?"

Brian shook himself out of his daze and asked, "Hmm?"

Justin gave him a concerned look and asked, "Are you okay? I've been saying your name for the past five minutes." Brian watched as Justin's tongue darted out of his mouth, to wet his lips. "If you want to be somewhere else, you just have to say so. You don't have to stay," Justin said as he tried to keep the hurt out of his voice and off of his face. But Brian could see and hear it, anyway.

Brian smirked. "Don't worry, Justin. If I didn't want to be here, I wouldn't be. I was just thinking about... things."

"Care to share?"

Brian had always found it hard to share anything important with anyone, even his Liberty Avenue family. He always kept his mask up. But with Justin, he found himself wanting to share. Found himself wanting to know Justin, and for Justin to know him. Taking a deep breath, he said, "You. I was thinking about you."

Justin smiled a gentle smile and asked, "What about me?"

Brian raised an eyebrow, "Fishing for compliments?" Justin just smiled and shrugged. Turning serious, Brian said, "I was just thinking that I like sitting here and talking to you. That if someone had told me that I'd enjoy just having a conversation with another man this much, I'd certify them as crazy."

Justin laughed, causing his face to light up. Beautiful was the first word to pop into Brian's brain. 'Great! I'm turning into a damn lesbian!' Brian thought.

"Well, just so you know, I'm enjoying talking to you, too."

When Brian glanced back at his watch, he saw that it was five in the morning. "Shit! I can't believe we've been talking this long. It's five."

Justin's blue eyes widened. Time had seemed to fly by. But they say it always does when you're having fun. "Justin," Brian began. "I'm going to have to go. I need to get ready for work." Brian paused. Then, he did something that he thought he'd never do. He asked a man out on a date. "Would you like to get together tonight and go for ... dinner?"

Justin smiled his 'sunshine' smile and nodded. "I'd love to."

"Good. I'll pick you up at eight." As if it was an everyday occurrence, Brian leaned over and laid a soft kiss on Justin's lips. Then, he was gone and Justin was left with a goofy smile on his face as he, gently, rubbed his right index finger over his lips.

LATER THAT EVENING

Justin was standing in his small bedroom, modeling for his brothers and sisters. Jessica was going to be watching the other three and Justin had made her swear that she would call immediately if she, or the others, needed anything. "So, how's this look?" he asked as he held his arms out to the side. He was wearing a pair of black slacks and a white sweater. They were the nicest dress clothes he owned.

"You look great!" said Brandon. Robyn and Jessica nodded their agreement. Timothy just gave him a toothless grin.

"Now, are you sure you guys will be okay? I can just cancel--"

"No way!" exclaimed Robyn.

"Yeah, Jus. We'll be fine. We've been here without you before. You need to go out and have some fun," replied Jessica sounding way more mature than her twelve years.

Justin smiled just as there was a knock on the door. Glancing at the clock, he saw that it was eight on the dot. He quickly walked into the living room and over to the door. After he opened the door, he had to keep himself from drooling. Brian looked ... HOT! He was wearing a black suit, with the jacket undone, and a white shirt. "You look handsome," blurted out Justin. After saying it, he blushed.

"So do you. Even more so when you blush."

Justin momentarily lowered his eyes, then raised them back up to look at Brian and smile. "You ready?" Brian asked.

Justin nodded as he turned to face Jessica. "Remember to call me if you need me. I mean it, Jess."

Jessica nodded. "I promise."

"So do we," Robyn and Brandon said as one.

"Will they be okay alone?" questioned Brian.

Justin nodded. "Yes."

After Justin had giving his brothers and sisters hugs and kisses goodbye, he and Brian walked out of the apartment. As they walked to Brian's jeep, Justin took a deep breath and hoped with all of his heart that this date would go well.

After Justin was in the jeep, Brian walked to his side of the vehicle. As he did so, he carefully adjusted himself. His pants had immediately started feeling tight the minute Justin had opened the door. The longer he was around the man, the worse it got. He was trying to will his erection away, so that they could, hopefully, have a nice time. 'Lesbians... Debbie naked... Mikey naked...' Erection disappeared. As he got behind the wheel and smiled at Justin, he found himself hoping that this date wouldn't go like the first and only one he'd had years ago. He didn't want to end up fucking the waiter this time.
