Black Friday

Author's Note: I wrote this drabble for Thanksgiving 2007

Justin sighed as he shook Brian, again. It was the day after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, when the stores had great sales. And Justin was determined to hit them with Brian.

After being shook for a third time, Brian opened one eye and growled, "What?"

Justin gave Brian a sweet smile and said, "Time to go."

Opening his other eye, Brian looked at he bedside clock. "Go? Go where? It's four in the fucking morning, Justin!"

"I know that. The sales at the mall start at five. You have thirty minutes to get ready. I wanna get there early."

Brian looked at Justin like he was crazy and sputtered, "The m-mall?!"

After a couple of minutes, Justin gave Brian an impatient look and and said, "Get up, Brian, or no sex for a week."

Brian raised his eyebrows. Justin had him over a barrel, since they were monogamous. And Justin could be so damn stubborn that Brian knew he wouldn't get any for a week if he didn't get his ass out of bed. Sighing, he got up and said, "You're going to owe me for this."

Justin just smiled at having gotten his way.


AT THE MALL

The doors to the mall had just opened, as had the stores inside the mall, when Brian and Justin arrived. Brian couldn't believe how many people were there. It wasn't even daylight!

When they reached the mall entrance, Justin noticed that Brian was looking like a man on his way to his own death. Chuckling, Justin took Brian's hand and said, "It'll be alright." For that, Justin received a glare.

When they walked into the mall, Brian's eyes about bulged out of his head. There were people everywhere! Men and women were running from store to store, kids were running and yelling, the employees were looking scared.... 'It's a fucking madhouse!' Brian thought in despair. How dare Justin bring him here! This was exactly why he never shopped at malls! Looking at Justin, he saw his husband smiling.

"How can you be happy?" demanded Brian.

"Thinking of all the great sales we're getting ready to go to."

Before Brian could answer, he heard a noise. Looking, he saw two women fighting in front of Victoria's Secret. "Oh my God," he mumbled as he watched.

The two women were each holding an end of a blue negligee, playing tug of war. Suddenly, the brown-haired woman punched the red-haired woman in the nose. The red-head screamed in pain, then screeched like a Banshee as she attacked the brunette. Neither seemed to notice the audience that was gathering. A man waded in and tried to break them up and ended up getting kicked.

All of a sudden everyone started fighting, even the children. Punches were being thrown, curses were being yelled, items were flying through the air.

Noticing that everyone around them was fighting, Brian thought, 'Shit! We're being surrounded!' "Run for you life!" he yelled at Justin.
Justin could only nod his agreement as Brian grabbed his wrist and ran, pulling him out of the mall.
