Silver Bell

A silver bell is missing from his favorite costume. He wears it on a cord around his neck, a present from the only one bold enough to steal it and return it as a gift.

The tiny bell’s chime is faint, but suits his many moods. It chimes merrily when he is happy, and perhaps his movements are a little more lively just to make it sound. When he is sad the sound is soothing and steady, a comfort in a life that's rarely either.

Many bells remain on his costume, but he keeps this one close to his heart.
